07 January 2014 Can the defective return be revised ? Hi All, Can the defective return be revised ? A new client has come to us recently . He has filed return by himself . capital loss wrongly declared as business loss. For the same he has received notice u/s 139(9),stating that p&l,Balsheet and audit report to be attached. What is the procedure to be followed for this ?
