15 December 2014 Yes, you can very well do that. Keep one confirmation letter from the said customer, on record, that he has done so through oversight...(Or whatever the real reason is)

15 December 2014 Debit Note? You may issue the debit note to your Group Company, if they insist.
But more important is the confirmation from your customer.
Between JV or Debit note.....choice is with you.....
