I am salary taxpayer and from this next year i am starting Consultation service for which i required to deduct tds on professional exp
Can I obtain TAN no. now? When I started firm I need change tan data or new tan no.

No need to to take it now as you are not deducting any TDS neither providing such services...

can you obtain TAN now? yes, you can. But it is not required. However, I will suggest that you apply for all relevant registrations atleast 2 months before you want to start your work. That shall help you focus better.
