I receive a case in which,a dealer surrender his R.C.on 21-02-2012,as per DVAT Act,his IVth Qtr.Return filing due date is 25-04-2012.He is not filing IVth Qtr Return on 21-02-2012,when I filing his IVth Qtr Return, the system did not open his file,system says,he is a cancelled dealer.What is doing,in this position.

File return for the period 01-01-12 to 20-02-2012 , it should be uploaded if i am not wrong.

Thanks,Mr.Pawan Jajoo,but it is wrong,as per deptt.he is a cancelled dealer & he is not be able to do anything in his file.

This quary is still open,because no answer in this regards & this is a system error.As per law,the dealer is right,but as per system,he is wrong.Please tell me dear experts,what can i do?

After Cancellation dealer can not file his return online. you are right Aggarwalji,
for that it is very important to surrender after filing return
but you can have one remaining option which is to file return manually with original formats & with letter to A.O of your Ward for accepting return because of non acceptance of online ID

direct meet to Ward officer and explain your case and tell them how can you do assessment if we don't file last return ?
otherwise take a confirmation from officer that if not filing possible then you can not ask for the same in written
dept. will ocnduct assessment of last year returns of TIN holder Assessee afterthan they will check all the records and closed your file permanently
