can we apply for new gst registration if residing in a rental room (rent agreement) no other business place

Certainly, it is possible to conduct business operations from your residence and register it as your place of business under GST.

Is it compulsory to provide GSP-tagged photos & banner outside?
Photos of place of business:
Usually, GST officers may ask for clear photos showing your business premises (inside and outside).
The photos help verify the existence and address of the business.
For residential addresses, usually a rent agreement and photos of the room/office suffice.
No mandatory requirement for a banner outside if you don’t have a physical shop or display.
GSP-tagged photos:
GSP (GST Suvidha Provider) may help upload photos digitally during registration, but it's not strictly compulsory unless the officer demands it during inspection.
