Can a person claim 2 properties as self occupied properties

Sir/Ma'am,
Mr.A has a property in Bangalore (his family stays in this property) and another property in Mumbai (Mr.A stays in this property) .His place of employment is Mumbai.
Can Mr.A claim both the properties as Self Occupied properties ?

No, in case an individual owns multiple house properties, it is at the option of such
individual to treat any of the house property as ‘self-occupied’ with nil annual value
and offer other house properties to tax at notional rental value,
