Can a Minor file his return of income

Can a Minor who has just attained age of 18 on 8th April,2009 file his return of income for the assessment year 2009-10 (P.Y. 2008-09), or his parents will file his return.

Can you suggest me why it is so

Minor cannot file his return. His income should be include in his parents or his gardian's income and upto 1500/- exemption is avaiable for evry minor income

he may file provided the income is generated out of his own skills

Return is file for that year onwards in which the individual attains age of 18.
