pls may i know that Can a Internal Auditor act as a Cost Auditor in the same financial year in a company?

Generally Internal Audit is given to a practicing chartered account and cost auditor should be a person who is practicing under CWA. A person cannot be a practicing person under both CA and CWA institute.

The Department of Corporate affairs is of the view that the cost auditor should not also be the internal auditor of a company for the period for which he is conducting the cost audit.
