Dear Sir,
Can CA whether holding COP or not be chairman of 'Sarafi Mandali'? Whether permission of ICAI is necessary? And what are other implications?

if it is dummy kind of position a practicing CA can hold but advisable is to seek ICAI advise this may be interpreted as Prof conduct as ICAI has issued some guidelines on it.
