What kind of preparations (mainly academic and current affairs) are required before going for campus interview? Can u suggest any kind of books/materials that could be useful for it?

THERE are no such specific books or materials. Just brush up your knowledge with respect to all the jobs you've applied like AS, guidance notes etc. Be clear in fundamentals and very important be confident and positive in your approach.
