Call from income tax department

26 December 2015 one of my family friend did not file itr yet and she got a call from IT department asking password of online account opened for filling itr... however i have read in some blogs that there are some fraud calls telling that they r from IT department and goverment is refunding money to assessee for some rozgaar scam and ask for bank details and deduct money from assessee account. Do IT department call assessee in case of any clarification? or is it fraud call please help me... reply asap
