a contractor doing a work of instullation of tiles in a building, i want to know what % of service tax chargable on this contract, 12.36% or 4.944% . it is a work contract.

if he is in composite scheme then he has option of 4.944% as per prescribed rules.......otherwise 12.36% as per normal rules........
