point no 1 p.f is calucatled on basic salary ie 12% employee contribution and 12% employer contributio.

point no 2 esic is calucated on gross salary @ 1.75% on employee salary 4.75% is employer contribution the gross salary of employee should be maximum of rs 10000.00

27 September 2008 The pf contribution is need not be @ 12% it can be less than that also. Minimum 8%
But the maximum ceiling is 12%.

It can be discussed with the employer and u can make your commitments comfortably by convincing the HR.
