10 October 2014 EPF Limit increased to Rs. 15000 from Rs. 6500 wef 01.09.2014
If any Basic Salary : 7,000/-
DA : 2,000/-
Traveling Allowance : 2500/-
HRA: 3,000/-
Mobile : 1,000/-
Now its total payable amount is 15,500/-

I want to know that which amount is applicable for EPF deduction Rs 7,000/-(Basic) or 15,500/- (Total)

Kindly tell me what is the limit of Basic salsry

10 October 2014 EPF applicable on the basic salary of the employee.

only limit is increase up to 15000/- basic salary employee will cover under the EPF.

earlier you r not paying epf now you have to pay epf.
