Quick Summary
When calculating capital gains tax, the value stated in the sale deed is generally used. If the sale agreement value is higher than the sale deed value, the agreement value will only be considered for tax purposes if it can be proven that payments were indeed made according to the sale agreement.

21 June 2021 What if the value as per sale agreement is more than that as per sale deed?

21 June 2021 The value in sale agreement will not be considered for taxation unless it's proved payment received as per sale agreement.
