there is joint property in the name of husband & wife.they have contributed unequal amount in property but in registry there was not any specific share in property. if they sell this property ,how capital gain will be calculated? can it be in proportion to their fund invested in property?

Capital Gain will be calculated as per the rules of IT ACt, but sharing will be as per their contribution only for Income Tax Asst. purpose.
