Ca ipcc new syllabus

10 May 2017 I am in my second year of my articleship and given two attempts for ipcc grp one but not cleared now i am thinking to skip nov-17 attempt and give the exam of may-18 both groups. and as per icai new revised syllabus is applicable from may-18 exams will it applicable to me that means should i have have to study for 8 subjects?
