Ca final tuition timing !!!

09 August 2013 After how much time after joining articleship should one join tuition for CA Final? I recently went for the interview of a middle sized firm and they put forward a condition that i cant join evening tuition within 1.5 years of joining articleship. I cant attend morning tuition due to my college timing . So what should I do? Will it make my schedule hectic in last year before final(may '16 due) ?

09 August 2013 if ur exam in may 16 then start by 1.1.2015 and complete it by 31.12.2015

14 August 2013 This is an unfair condition put by CA firm. However as per my understanding for May 2016 attempt you should join coaching maximum by may 2015. One year time gap is enough for preparation.

However joining the same a bit early is also good as you’ll get good time for revision etc. But you’ll be at risk if you join after May 2015.

15 August 2013 1)Yes,Generally firms that having work will not allow to go for coaching in evening times,,because we cannot say when we can leave work place

2)even in my case my boss ask me to take coaching in morning times,and of course it is the best way i guess also so that we can avoid time waste in traffic jams and there will be other benifits

3)Mean time you may refer to ICAI free e-learning facility and start coaching for ca final theoritical subjects and for pracical subjects depends on your strengths and weakness

15 August 2013 FLASH!!!!

1)clarified that the proposed Companies Act, 2013 will not be applicable for the Intermediate (IPC) and Final Examinations to be held in May 2014.

2)Regarding the applicability for November 2014 Examination, the decision will be taken based on the exact date of enactment of the above Companies Bill into the Act.
