Ca final registration query.. please help

23 October 2016 My CA final attempt is due for May 2017. My articleship started sept-2014 and hence 2.5 years attempt is due on May 17 under current scheme of articleship.

I have not yet registered for ca-final since I am looking for new study material of Jan-17 edition instead of getting old Jan 2016 edition if i register now.

Meantime if i register in January 2017, and suppose if ICAI rolls out new syllabus from Dec-2016, and I am still not registered as final student as of Dec 2016- then my doubt is will I have to wait for completion of 3 years articleship for giving my final exams and that means my attempt will get postponed to Nov -2017.

Please clarify what should I do...

Can I wait till January 2017 to register for finals with new ICAI books or should I register now itself (October 2016).????

24 October 2016 If u r just waiting for new books then, I'll suggest not to wait and do ur registration ASAP. And if u r planning to study ur own(without any classes) then U must have to wait till Nov,17 attempt. Well, many students can't manage Finals in such a short span of time, but u know ur potential very well. So all the best..
