Dear sir,
I have completed 1 year of aricleship as on 27-8-2013.On 31-8-2013 I have taken transfer due to medical reasons.I can register only after 3 months.So will this discontinuance affect my CA final attempt which is in May 2015? I have taken 18 days of leave in 1st year.Please solve at the earliest.

As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.
If your 30 moths end before 30.04.2015 then you will be eligible for May 2015.
Your article ship will extend by excess leave.

But if this discontinuance is taken as leave then 30 months is completed as on 30.04.2015 or if at all it is to be considered again from my date of re-registration i.e from 1st Dec 2013 effectively it will be only 28 months.How shold I treat this sir?

Your article ship will not consider the gap from the date of transfer till the date of re registration.
