I have started my articleship from 1st December 2016 after passing ipcc in may 2016 when can i appear for ca final exam, what will be my attempt please tell?

No, that is NOT possible.....

But a post on icai website says you can appear for final exams if you are in the last 12 months of your articleship.

yes, you can very well follow the post.....you can appear for CA final in May 2019 as per the said post.
