My friend is MBA in finance from recognized institute & also ICFAI, and want to pursue CA. What exemptions he may get in CA course?

It depends on his %. Its better that you contact the institute directly and consult with them. He might be eligible for the direct entry scheme and can be exempted from giving CPT.
