C form issue with vat tin no.

18 September 2013 Dear all, If a form "C" is issued by the purchaser without mentioning their CST registration number but TIN No. whether it is valid or not any case details if , plz.

18 September 2013 1) Without a valid CST No the purchasing dealer cannot issue C form. If it is manual, the issuing authority should have asked the party to put the address and tin/cst number in the C forms

2) The supplier must be knowing the CST number of the buyer as the movement involves interstate transaction.

3) TINXSYS is a system where one can get the CST number thro online.

It is valid if it is written manually by anyone. So, what is the reason the party is not disclosing or not writing the CST No?

Thanks for the suggestion, but there is some other query.

These forms are apply & received online.

Shall it get amend manually or we have to cancelled all of them & apply for new one.

19 September 2013 yes. The said forms can be returned to the party for re-submission with valid CST RC number in the C form.
