13 July 2012 The C form is meant for concessional rate of purchase from interstate parties. Now it is 2% against C form.

The product must have been endorsed in the Karnataka CST RC (Form B). This is the first condition.

Secondly, after purchase, you have to report the interstate purchase turnover with party name, his TIN no. etc., in the VAT return.

Based on the information, on line C form is generated now in Karnataka VAT website. Keep one copy (counterfoil) with you and send original and duplicate copy to the interstate suppliers.
