11 August 2010 Hi all

One of the company have passed a resolution in the Annual General Meeting which was not included neither in the Notice of the Meeting nor a shorter notice was given for the same.

Is it a valid business ? if not how can we rectify it or make good

11 August 2010 Totally invalid business as it was not included in the AGM notice.

Even discussion is legally not possible.

11 August 2010 sir just a clarification... cant it be included under clause"any other business with the permission of chairman"

"any other business with the permission of chair" can mentioned in the Notice of Board Meeting only and not in the case of general meeting where shareholders need to be informed beforehand.
