I have one FD of Rs.50,000.00 for which i have claimed deduction u/s 80c and now i want to gift it to someone in blood relation.

1. Can i do so?
2. What will the tax treatment in my hand and on the hand of the receiver?
3. Will there be any difference in your opinion if donee encash FD only after the fixed period?

i m a NRI who sent apllication form along with required money but now i m confused whether they have received it or not.i want to know how do i come to knw i m registered with icai.please help.so far no one has contacted me from icai

I completed my articleship in June-2007.Cleared I group CA Final & also got exemption in Direct Taxes in Nov-2006.i have written remaining papers in Nov-2007.
I need advice as to what to do next? Whether to apply for jobs? If so ,tips as to how to proceed? or Should I wait for results to apply?

i am a ca final student.i've finished my articleship in 2003.since then i haven't worked anywhere.during those years i got pe 2& also did post graduation.now i'm going to dubai to find a job.do u think i'll get a good job there.i'm also very nervous about attending interviews.i don't have any contacts there.can u plss advice as to how to face this problem & to what to expect from the interviews in dubai.
