Our's is a partnership firm audited u/s 44 AB . After audit some mistakes of ommissions and commissions and misclassification we are brought to our notice by our accountants. Now to rectify the said mistakes observed we intend to file revised return u/s 139 (5). For the purpose we are prepairing revised trading, profit and loss account and balance sheet.

Whether these statement adopted for the purpose of filing revised return requires the signature of the auditor and whether a revised audit report is to be obtained for the purpose of filing revised return.

I took admission in ICAI(cost) in 2010..till now given 2 complete attempts and 1 incomplete attempt...I could not complete the intermediate yet..I m also doing MBA...As i have taken 3 yrs..I am thinking of taking re-admission and to start afresh..so that i can cover my no. of attempts...Is it possible..will i have to pay the full fess again?..

Sir , the select services are not part of our syllabus and as a result the chapter in module "gamut and coverage of taxable services " is also no more relevant for nov'12 exams , my query is whether the case laws which are relevant for exams would also change as a result.I mean the case laws mentioned in institute publication in chapter on "gamut and coverage of taxable service be relevant for nov'12 exams ? Please reply soon.

i joined articleship last year in sept, but due to health problem i am on leave since mid-may. i wanted to leave the course so mentioned the same with my boss. he asked me to wait till sept so i did the same. now, he's saying that he will not sign the form as i left work uncompleted(which earlier offered him to complete but he objected) and haven't produce doctor's certificate (i have already given the same). The work load is too much and want to either join another firm wer load is less or leave the course.
what should i do? is there any institute remedy available?

I Joined in firm but I don't want to continue there, I am still not get registered with ICAI for artiles can I join in another firm. Is there any problem from auditor side?
