I M A CA FINAL STUDENT FROM THE PCC BATCH. THE ELGIGIBLITY FOR APPEARING FOR FINAL EXAM IS COMPLETION OF ARTICLESHIP OF 3.5 YRS. WHETHER THIS TERM IS JUST BASIC TERM OR INCLUDES EXCESS LEAVE TOO. MY ARTICLESHIP ENDS IN THE LAST WEEK OF OCT 2010. AND DUE TO MY EXCESS LEAVE IT WOULD END UP NOW IN MID WEEK OF DECEMBER. AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPEAR FOR NOV EXAM??
ALSO, WHETHER THE EXCESS LEAVE FROM OLD PRINCIPAL CAN BE SET OFF MY TAKING LESS LEAVE IN THE NEW FIRM??
IN DETAIL:
MY ARTICLESHIP ENDS ON 28TH OCT (BASIC TERM). INCLUDING EXTENSION IT WOULD END ON 15 DEC (APPROX). I HAVE TAKEN UP TRANSFER AND AM ON EXTENSION SINCE MY OLD PRINCIPAL HAS SHOWED EXCESS LEAVE.
KINDLY RESOLVE THE ABOVE MATTER

I have been writing Gr.2 in CA Final and failing since 4 attempts. I am working with Big MNC and studying. I am failing any 1 subject only all the time (either of 4 alternatively). I have only 3more months for May'2010 exams. I am not a full fledged student and I am married and struggling to complete CA.I asked everyone in my family to support me to clear CA this time. I need your suggestion, How can I help myself from failing, especially with costing. I am not able to balance the subjects in terms of pass. Please suggest me how can i balance between the subjects?

my marks are as follows:

in May 2008 CM=37 MICS=62 DT=51 IDT=59,

in Nov 2008 CM=45 MICS=62 DT=50 IDT=37,

in May 2009 CM=42 MICS=62 DT=31 IDT=50,

in Nov 2009 CM=25 MICS=62 (Exemption expired) DT=50 IDT=50.

Dear sir, Please help me how can i make a best strategy for myself. I will be very gratefull to you all if you can throw light for my right path.

Hello everyone

I had appeared in november 2009 exams but could not clear.Now I am worried as there are lot of changes in almost all the subjects. Please suggest me following:-

1) Changes/revisions in AS

2)Material to study the revised and newly issued Standards on auditing

3) Any changes in law (specially sebi guidelines etc )from last attempt

4)any change in mics apart from amended information technology act

5) Is new direct tax code applicable for may 10 or just i have to update myself with finance act 2009 and other case laws etc

6)where from should i get all the changes in IDT

I will be really thankfull to all of you.Please help me.

I have passed CA Final I group under erstwhile Final old syllabus in 1992.For clearing my CA now ,should I have to clear both the groups or is it enough if I clear the II group alone?

Sometime before I was told by the Institute that validity of the exemption of that Igroup was already over,Pl.kindly
let me know the present status.I am not getting any reply from the Institute;I am in Saudi Arabia & have been working as Mgt Accountant.

Could anybody can help me to resolve my querry?

Actually, I got a call from ITC Ltd. for industrial training but only 7.5 months are remaining in completion of my training. I want to ask that can I join it as minimum 9 months are required for it. Can I extend my articleship training by showing the excess leave taken.

I also wants to know about ITC howz it and whether I should join it or not.
