Can a Article Assistant go under Industrial Training and also secondment for different periods? Means can one do his article ship under secondment for the second last year and again go for industrial training for the last year of articleship under the same firm?

I have gone thru the study material provided by ICAI. It is really very very exhaustive and explains each and every thing in details with required examples. But I was distressed when I could not get the answers for questions given after every chapter. Can you help me !!!

We are a firm operating in Haryana area and have taken a registrtion no. under HVAT. Also we have to operate on national level & need CST no. for receiving & sending the material outside Haryana.

Now we are to open a branch at Maharashtra and will need the local VAT no. Do we need to apply CST no. separately with Maharastra tax deptt or the same CST no. given by Haryana tax deptt will be sufficient.

I have registered for my CPT in September and still not received any Registration Letter from the Chennai Branch.
I am planning to write the December 2009 exam and 27th October is the last date for submission of the Exam Form which I cannot obtain without the Registration Number in the letter. The only thing I can think of going wrong on the registration form is I darkened the option my Permanent Address is different from current address and didn't enter it in. Otherwise the Registration form is perfect.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT AS THE DEADLINE IS APPROACHING !!!!!!

i realised dat studying audit theory itself is a tough thing rather than understanding it. when askd a question, i cud tell wat can be done to the best of my knnowledge, but wen it comes to studying, i find it different from other subjects. plss suggest a way out as i reallly need to pass the exam in my first attempt itself.

I cleared my PEI in may 2004.thereafter i cleared my PEII 2nd group in Nov 2007.due 2 exaust of 5 consecutive attempts, got converted 2 PCC course.I also get my Articleship started.I cleared my 1st group in may 2009 in PCC course.my question is when i will get my final attempt.whether it will b after completion of 2 yrs of articleship or after completion of entire articleship i.e after 3 and half yrs.

What can be done if the centre which was choosen is different from centre alloted and the centre which is alloted is very very far Plz what can be done in this matter.
