ICAI Recently issued notification for examiners, Hence papers yet to be cheaked. becoz from may 16 no checkers. Is it right..... confused

I need to ask one query
I am CA finalist, Nov 2017 is my attempt due
I need to ask which is the most suitable time to get registered for the final?
As per the rumors in the market, student getting register after june,2016 will not be able to get register in the old course i.e. they have to opt for the new syllabus as per ICAI
So, should I go for registration right now?
Or wait for 1 or 1.5 year in order to get the latest study material.

I have the video of CA Sanjay Aggarwal's costing classes of 2012-13 batch and my CA final exam is due on November 2017. I wanted to know whether there has been any syllabus changes for the subject in these past few years and is it advisable to watch the video at home or to take classes?
