Hi. i today read that the concept of Dematerialisation has abolished Odd Lots in the Capital Market.
Can anybody tell me what do we understand by Odd Lots?

Dear fellow CAclub members,
while I have been reading about stock market movement in a day, i come across the term "the market opened with a positive/negative gap of --- points. What exactly meant by this? The dealers can order only after the market opens, then what determines the above mentioned gap?

What is meant by circuit breaker? Just observe the following sentence where this phrase is used?

What do we mean by Asset Reconstruction Company(ARC)?. Who regulates those companies in India? What is the nature of business of these companies?
