I am into CA Final... as per current scenario handsome salaried jobs are not available for ca freshers.. I am thinking to take up actuarial science course with ca ....frnds plz suggests will it be beneficial along with ca ???

Basically I am addressing this query to all the experts. I am an MBA(Finance) and have over 10 years of experience in heading research and analytics.

I left my CA-Final some 5-6 years back after multiple attempts. My main reason for not clearing was:

1. My writing speed - all the papers I was able to complete only up to 75 marks on average. So I used to score 192, 197 188 etc. of total 320-325 marks of paper actually attempted.

2. MICS - Back 5 years, i used to mug up each and every word of the module and write up the same in paper. But somehow I never score more then 45 in MICS. And now since the material has changed and certain topics have become more technical, i am finding it very difficult to study this subject especially.

I am sure if I solve this 2 issues, I CAN be through the exams.

I specially need guidance from the seniors about how to manage MICS. If I just read past question papers, will be it be okay?

Any special advice as I am giving exam after nearly 5 years.

Dear Experts, I am doing my job as a CA in a Company. and also practice as tax consultant to a various individuals for filing their income tax returns. Now can i file income tax return showing the income from profession as CA? And if i wish to practice part time only in my name. then what is the procedure??

My query is that he has a gap of around 10 years between class 12th & CPT & this is creating a big problem for him to getting a good job in a reputed Company. Please suggest what should he do ?
