Can any body tell me what is nifty and sensex??
How can we say that market is low Or high by looking on sensex and nifty??
i want actualy basic knowledge about market as i m a student of ICWA-Final, and there is a subject Capital market analysis so that i need that one....

Nifty is a basket of fifty selected shares based on the volume of turnover over a period share price fluctuation during the period these figures are BSE figures and is supposed to be a broad indicator of the performance of the share index. Sensex on the other hand is compiled on the basis of share traded during the day at the BSE at the end of trading hours These figures are generated by the system operated by BSE
