27 December 2013 Please help me with a good book for costing, as I have started studying after 2 years gap and costing is a bit confusing for me

I suggest to go for Online classes.

You can refer ICAI module & Practice Manual that is more than sufficient.

27 December 2013 Since you have not mentioned the level & course.I would suggest you to go for mittal & maheswari at intermediate/IPc level of cs/cwa/ca or saxena vashist at final levels of cs/cwa/ca.Do include practice manual & rtps in your preparation.
