21 October 2016 For self preparation of ca final idt ( without taking coaching) , which book would be better : 1)Dr Bangar' s book or 2)Ca vineet sodani ' s book or any other book? Please also tell whether separate booklet for amendments is available of these authors?

22 October 2016 I studied from Bangars IDT book. Quite a lot to study in IDT so don't panic if you're unable to thoroughly cover everything. Case laws booklet released by institute is beneficial. After completing a chapter solve questions from PM, RTP, Mock test papers.

22 October 2016 I'll like to suggest Bangar's, coz I never heard of Vineet Sodani(its my view). But u must never forget institute's study materials. U can also consult Ready Reckoner of V K Singhania, (its for practical world).

25 October 2016 Bangar is my favorite as well. But,Vineet is a student of Bangar sir and so it will not make too much difference. Opt for either of the books but ensure you give emphasis more on your presentation and time management.
