31 May 2011 Dear Sirs,

Kindly let me know the meaning of xyz Ltd has informed BSE that the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Bank will remain closed from June 01, 2011 to June 8, 2011 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of Payment of Final Dividend and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company to be held on June 8, 2011.

01 June 2011 It means that the said books shall remain closed for the purpose of ascertaining the names of the shareholders entitled to receive dividend, if declared at the Annual General Meeting of the Company.

No transfer,transmission or transposition of shares shall take place when the Register of members and share transfer books are closed.

As per clause 16 of the Listing Agreement, every Company is required to give a prior intimation of atleast 7 working days of the dates of book closure/record date to all the SE where the shares of the Company are listed.
