Bonus share Certificate

This query is : Resolved

27 October 2010 A pvt. Co. is issuing bonus shares. I would like to know whether such share certificates would be any different from regular certificates. Should the words 'Bonus Shares' or some such phrase be printed on the share certificates?

Thanks in advance

27 October 2010 It would be a simple n plain share certificate.

There is no need to print the words 'Bonus Shares' or some such phrase on the share certificates.

Thanks

28 October 2010 thanks sir,

Also please tell me whether Form 22B needs to be filed (once Again) when bonus shares are allotted to a nominee shareholder holding shares on behalf of another shareholder

05 November 2010 Yes there is no Need to Print Words "Bonus Shares " on the Share Certificate. However there is no restriction as well. You can use the Word "Bonus Share Certificate" on the Share certificates.

Further you need to File Form 22B even for Bonus Shares on receipt declaration from Beneficial Owner for the bonus Shares
