whether stamp duty is applicable of allotment of bonus issue are there any exemption

Dear Friend,
For the issue and allotment of bonus shares no stamp duty is required to be paid.
However if the issue is in physical form then you have to issue share certificates and pay stamp duty on share certificate as per the state stamp rule.
