23 July 2009 Hello Experts,

My Company has declared Bonus Issue and have fixed the record date for it,and submitted the announcement to BSE, NSDL and CDSL
But i dont want to give the advertisement for it in the news papers u/s 154.
can i have the option to do it?

Pls Reply fast.

Advertisement for it in the news papers u/s 154 is mandatory. You can not escape.

As per 154 closure is optional but if company opt to close its books then in that case notice in newsparer is necessary.
