Bonus in kind?

CAn the bonus be given in kind. Say what if instead of cash i give say apparel. Will it be called as bonus? Please provide support with yur answer!

Bonus Cannot be paid in kind. Section 19 of the PAYMENT OF BONUS ACT, 1965 says the Bonus shall be paid in Cash only.

Also if the salary is above the particular limits u have to pay the bonus as per Section 19
