what is the responsibility of the statutory auditor if the provisions of bonus act not complied by a public company?, say bonus paid more than 20% of the salary.& what if co. is private.

For contravention of the provisions of the Bonus Act or rules the penalty is imprisonment upto 6 months, or fine up to Rs.1000, or both.
