Can we pass single board resolution for multiple purposes? eg. for change in object clause and name clause.

No.
You have to pass separate board resolution for Change of name and change in object clause. Reason being both the activities are different in nature.
However both resolution can be passed in single board meeting. There is no need to hold 2 board meetings.
