Please tell me how many times the board meeting should me held in the company.
other things that should me taken care in about board meetings

There should be atleast 4 board meetings to be held in the calendar year.The gap between the two meetings should not be more then 3 months. i.e Board meetings should be held in every Quarter ..

02 February 2010 Partly disagree with Neha. Gap may be in excess of 3 months as per companies act. However as per listing agreements The gap between the two meetings should not be more then 3 months.

There is no resrtiction on maximum no. of board meeting. Refer section 285 of companies act.
