26 December 2009 Now we want to maintain bill wise ledger detail of parties in Tally. ERP 9 from 01/04/2009. One party having due 14 bills total amount Rs. 12, 36,250 on 01/04/2009. Can we enter opening 14 bills total amount Rs. 12, 36,250 due on 01/04/2009 at time of creating party ledger.

26 December 2009 if you are creating new company at the time of opening balance you can enter all bill detail at opening balance. or can continue for future bill.

if you are not creating new company alter all previous bill in last year which is pending. no need to do more excercise.

26 December 2009 While creating Ledger There is option billwise details if you select yes and while entering opening balance it will ask the bill details you can add one by one bills with the respective amount

27 December 2009 yes, when creting ledger there has been two different selection 1. for bill wise details 2. stock/inventory wise details. select which you have to maintain properly.
