Belated return wrongly filed

I filled my belated return on September 12 2014, but by mistake my salary income shown zero in my return. I got a mail from IT dept that the hard copy not submitted within date.I want to submit my return again after rectification. Can I do so? plz reply..

You can very well file the return, since you have NOT cubmitted the acknowledgement.

you can try it, but you file the late file of return the you cannot revise it.
