28 July 2010 1. Are there any minimum qualification required for becoming a tax consultant, if yes, please give the details.

2. It seems there are many individuals who are not even graduates but they work as income tax consultants and even have clients. Are they doing this against law ?

But are you sure that there is no minimum qualification required for income tax consultant ?

A person is just 10th pass, SSC , if he start as a income tax consultant wont there be any legal problems from I-T dept.
