It is tougher and considered more valuable than B.Com.

It is NOT equivalent to M.Com.

It is a graduate course and not a post-graduate course.

13 September 2012 The term Honors refers to specialisation in a particular field. During the bachelors programme, if any indivudual wants to specialize in a particular area, like accountancy/economics/english etc., he/she will pursue B.Com/B.A/B.Sc with honors in any particular subject.
The eligibility to qualify for honors is always a higher percentage of marks in the particular subject and in aggregate too.
