05 September 2014 If a company is a joint venture of Japan & Indian citizens. What is the date of balance sheet to filed with ROC. Whether it is 31/03/YYYY (Indian Corporate Law) or it is 31/12/YYYY (Japanese Corporate Law)????

05 September 2014 As per new cos act financial year end is ending on 31st march. so 31st march

08 February 2015 1) I read somewhere that the Company Law has provided a provision that a company controlled by foreign is allowed to opt for account year other than 31st March. Is it correct.

2) If the company belongs to group / subsidiary of a big group of foreign, how the company to manage the account. (Whether it prepare two balance sheet as on 31st March for India and another one as per their origin(may be 31st December) to enable the parent company to give consolidated Balance sheet??
