Is it necessary for the holding Company to consolidate the accounts of its subsidary Company in its balance sheet?
If yes, then please send me the format of consolidated balance sheet

No it is not required. On the assets side of the Balance Sheet the investment in subsidiary is appearing. The only thing is that if it is a listed company then the balance sheet of the subsidiary is to be attached and sent to the shareholders for their knowledge what the subsidiary is doing and whether there money is safe or not.

Also want to knw that whether at the time of filing of balance sheeet with the ROC
we have to attach the balance sheet of the subsidary company in Form 23 AC
