I am revising ITR-4 for AY2011-12 thru it dept excel form today. INCOME is 161919 (tax slab: 160000) & tax payable is 192 and interest payable is 0. Is it right int/amt?
And, original return filed manually. should I revised it thru online?

The Tax liability will be Rs.198...
Secondly, Have u filed the return manually & paid the tax ? If YES...no need to revise & to file on line...
As per the Recent CBDT Circular...those assessee whose total income exceeds Rs. 10 lacs are mandatatorily reqd to file the return of income on line...
As such it is voluntary to file the return on line...

It's to claim refund. tax payable is 198 & tds is 1289. So, I am doing that. Is it right now? My query is that why interest is not applicable?

original return is filed as paper return then revised return can not be filed electronically.
